We're going to Kansas City

At Papa's house on Christmas Eve, he told everyone he had something to say before we opened gifts. The way he said it, JC ran over to him and said "You're gonna tell us somethin?"

Papa said he had something more important than Christmas presents to talk about and he talked about the greatest gift ever given to us all-- Jesus! JC stood right beside Papa listening to every word and nodding along, sometimes even a "Yes" (I thought he might say "Amen!").

While Papa was still talking about Jesus' gift, JC interrupted and said, "We're going to Kansas City!!" He was so excited, he just had to tell somebody and Baby Jesus just had to wait! Papa laughed and continued on. JC went and sat by his presents (still listening).
