Julia & I went to a concert at church tonight, featuring Paul Saik. Julia enjoyed his music and singing and did pretty good sitting and listening. She doodled and drew the best "2" she's ever wrote before! She whispered to me that she "couldn't stop looking at it because it was so perfect." Oh, how I got the giggles inside..
She was pretty tired and worn out from her long day (& weekend) and sat in my lap a good part of the concert. Near the end she wrapped up in my arms and was listening during the love offering; she looked up me and said "Mommy, God is sitting by us, but we can't see him, right?"
My heart melted when she felt so close to God while listening to the beautiful music. Amen, Lord!
